Absolute Cycle is not only a workout class, it is an experience! The Absolute Cycle Methodology has been developed by the most experienced and talented Master Instructors to create our unique sequences. We combine the interactive connection with other riders and the power of the breath to take you on a start to finish journey during your ride. This powerful synergy creates a dynamic, innovative workout that also provides an experience that our customers are coming back for more of, every single day.

We believe positive change is contagious, so you are welcome to meet the crew!

At Absolute Cycle all you need to do is follow the lead of your inspirational instructor to smash out an intense fitness workout unlike any other. Let the lights dim as your instructor pumps up the volume to lead you on a mind-blowing, heart-pounding, multi-sensory ride.

What happens during

45 minutes of Rhythm cycling?

First 5 minutes

A sense of freedom hits your system. You immediately smile from the overwhelming joy as you drop into the rhythm.

15 minutes

Your enjoyment kicks in. Your body is ridding itself of cortisol, a powerful hormone that ultimately can cause you stress.

30 minutes

Blood flow and oxygen to the brain is boosted.

40 minutes

Serotonin and endorphins are released into the blood stream, helping improve your mood.
Smile at your fellow riders because you are having the time of your life.

45 minutes

With every ride you tick off, you’re helping reduce your risk of heart disease to less than half of those who don’t exercise at all. You should be proud of U!

You feel the “afterburn” effect. Rhythm Cycling is designed to increase your metabolism from 24 to 36 hours after the ride.

WEIGHT LOSS

Rhythm Cycling can help you lose weight and lower your body fat if done regularly and in combination with a healthy diet. The number of calories burnt in a Cycle Rhythm class depends on a number of factors including your weight and the intensity at which you work. On average, riders can burn 500 – 800+ calories in the 45 min class.

HEART RATE

Over time, rhythm cycling can help to lower your risk of heart disease, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, and can help lower your overall resting heart rate. Our sequences raise and lower your heart rate in a way that’s proved not only to improve your endurance but also increase your metabolism, fat burning ability, and overall fitness levels.

BUILD ENDURANCE

Rhythm cycling optimizes the body’s largest muscle groups, such as the quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes and calves as well as abdominal and lower back muscles. A regular class can improve muscular endurance and help to strengthen your body.

SWEAT BOX

If your fitness goals include weight and/or fat loss, rhythm cycling is definitely the best choice. In a rhythm cycling class, you can burn anywhere between 500 – 800 calories per average 45-min class. Since it takes 3,500 calories to burn one kilo of fat, just 5-8 indoor cycling classes, combined with a healthy diet can help you shave down your body fat.

CARDIO WORKOUT

A 45 to 60 min indoor cycling class is fairly intense. We light up the room in a cardio party keeping your heart pumping the whole time. This makes it a great choice for a regular cardio workout routine – will definitely work up a sweat.

STRESS RELIEF

Absolute Cycle classes can help to reduce stress and promote well-being. High-intensity exercises that we have developed triggers an increase of endorphins in the body creating a positive, refreshed and relaxed feeling.

CLASS STYLES

FOUNDATION
(15 mins)

Foundation orientates riders with the setup of the bike to match your body dimensions, shows you how to clip your shoes into the pedals, how to find the beat of the music and the basic moves. Also introduces form and safety guidelines. Minimum of one class required.

ABSOLUTE BEATS
(45 mins)

Gain the confidence you need to go the distance. A standard class for all levels designed for those who have a good cardio base or exercise regularly. One foundation class required to learn about technique. Sweat guaranteed. Prepare to move.

 

BIG BEATS
(60 mins)

Faster, harder, more powerful. It’s amazing what an extra 15 minutes can do. A little more challenge, a little more sweat, a lot more Absolute Cycle. A 60 minute class designed for those who have ridden the rhythm before or have taken at least 10 ABSOLUTE BEATS CLASSES. One foundation class required.

LUNCH BEATS
(45 mins)

Looking for a daily way to re–energize your afternoon? Try our lunch bumping cardio ride! A 45-minute class that will help you to get your blood flowing as long as fire up your metabolism long after you clip out

COMMUNITY RIDE
(45 mins)

Come take a class on us! Ride and experience the empowering combination of community. Friends, Colleagues, all are welcome! In this ride we focus on the pack and leave all competition behind as we pedal collectively towards the beat of the music creating a beautifully unified assembly that moves and grooves for tons of fun.

THEME RIDE
(45 mins)

Join the party with these special theme rides. Music, holidays, era’s, artists vs. artists basically any excuse for our instructors to PARTY. We’re adding new themes all the time, so there’s always something for everyone!

 

PRIVATE RIDE
(45 mins)

Absolute Cycle is open to private rides at your convenience and with your own pack. Suitable for private events, birthdays and special occasions.

BIRTHDAY RIDE
(45 mins)

It’s the instructors birthday! So come and celebrate. The sky’s the limit in a birthday ride. Make sure to bring your party hats, smiles and get ready to sweat.

YOUR

First Ride

We are excited to welcome you and share our revolutionary and exciting way of working out on a bike. We know that trying something new can be sometimes intimidating, but have no fear, Absolute Cycle is here to support you every pedal stroke of the way.

As a first timer, we recommend you to buy the FIRST TIMERS PACKAGES (10- class). This will give you a chance to get familiar with the rhythm and moves in the class.

HYDRATE

Staying hydrated is key. Be sure you drink enough water before, during and after your ride. Forgot your water bottle? Not a problem…water is available to purchase at the studio.

EAT

Please don’t even try to ride on an empty stomach. We recommend eating a full meal few hours before class or a light snack up to an hour before you ride.

WHAT TO WEAR

Ride in style! We suggest wearing form-fitting pants or shorts, and a light breathable top. Towels and cycling shoes are provided at the studio. If you have your own shoes, our pedals are compatible with Shimano SPD-SL’s

DO I HAVE TO BRING ANYTHING WITH ME?

Just your smile and a positive attitude! In addition, a water bottle although we do sell water at the studio. Hydration is key! We provide cycling shoes and towels and trust us: You’ll need one (or three!).

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The energy will be high, the music will be loud and the positivity endless as we search and reach for that breakthrough moment when your body conquers your mind. As well as an Absolute workout, you will train your upper body with light hand weights. Our workouts take your mind off everything, as you feel the endorphins running through your veins. After class we guarantee, you will walk out completely revitalized.

ARRIVE EARLY

Our beats start booming in the dark on time. So, please make sure you arrive at least 30 minutes before class. You can easily check-in at the front desk. If you are the first-time rider, please inform our staff and they will show you around as well as tell you more about how the class works.

*All first-time riders are required to take foundation class.

RESERVE A BIKE & SIGN IN SHEET

If you book through our mobile app, your name will be listed on the sign-in sheet next to the bike number you chose. We encourage the first-time riders to choose bikes toward the back of the class so that you can get into the ride and follow along with the rhythm of the pack.

Note: Your bike will be up for grabs if you have not signed in 5 minutes prior to the ride start.

NEW RIDER WAIVER

New to Absolute Cycle? We need your info. All first-time riders are required to fill out a waiver. The front desk will get you set up with a form when you first check-in at the studio. All riders who are 18 years old or under are required to have a parent or guardian’s signature in person.

BOOKING CLASSES

We recommend booking your class online, this way you are guaranteed a spot and you also get to pick your favorite bike. However, before you book a bike, you must have class credit. There is always the drop-in option with registration at the studio too.

SCHEDULE RELEASE

We update our schedule weekly. You can book your bike through our mobile app or by phone.

WAITLIST

If a class is full, you can join the waitlist (you will need credit in your account). Bikes will be automatically allocated on a first come, first served basis as they become available – up until 6 hours before the class start.

How do I know when I get a bike?

You will be notified by email. You’ll need to click the link to secure/confirm your bike. Please remember to remove yourself from the waitlist if you can no longer join the class.

WALK-INS

We are welcome the walk-ins. We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before class.

CANCELLATION – 6 HOURS POLICY

If you cancel 6 hours before a class begins, your credits will be fully refunded to your account. If you cancel less than 6 hours before class, we will need to reallocate your bike to another rider and sorry, you will lose that credit.

  1. Sign your name and confirm your bike number
  2. Pick up your cycling shoes at the front desk
  3. Enter the room with the positive attitude! Then find your bike, each bike will have a number attached
  4. Adjust your bike to fit your body or ask the instructor to help
  5. At the back of your bike, there’s a pair of 1kg dumbbells. There are heavier dumbbells available if you want to challenge yourself.
  6. Clip in and enjoy the ride!
  7. After class, just drop your shoes and towel in the designated bins. Then hit the showers on your endorphin high!

Rhythm Cycling is a full-body workout and like any new fitness routine, you may have to check with your doctor before you start if you have any medical conditions. Also, if you’re new to Absolute Cycle please let us know – we are happy to answer any questions.

Here some recommendations before your first ride. Tighten all the handles on the bike and make sure your shoes are clipped in. Our instructors are inspirational leaders who will motivate you to push yourself, but please listen to your body and work at a pace that is comfortable for you

If you experience any unusual or persistent symptoms after your ride, please don’t hesitate to seek medical attention.

SHOES

The shoes let you clip into the bike, giving you the best cycling experience possible. Clipping in provides a stable, safer ride and allows you to target the correct muscle groups. Cycling shoes are provided at the studio. If you have your personal cycling shoes, we use Shimano SPD -SL cleats. Our shoes go through a thorough cleaning process after each use, so rest assured that they are hygienic and clean.

TOWELS

A workout towel will be waiting for you on your bike. Also, bath towels are provided in the changing room.

CHANGING ROOMS

We have made sure that you can really pamper yourself in our changing rooms. Our studio has men’s and women’s changing rooms complete with showers, fresh towels and a few daily essentials for your convenience. Both are also equipped with hair dryers, so whether you’re getting ready to take on the best of your day or need to shine at your next meeting, we’ve got you covered.

LOCKERS

Lockers are free of charge. We encourage you to lock-up your valuables, as Absolute You Singapore is not responsible for any lost or stolen property.
